INSPECTIONS: Restaurant and Industrial Fire Systems Inspection Service
Kitchen hood and Industrial fire suppression systems are required to be inspected at minimum requirement on a semi-annual basis per NFPA 17,17A and 96. Our highly trained technicians can inspect and service all types of fire suppression systems. Our state of the art software keeps tract of when inspections are due so you never have to worry about being delinquent on required inspections. We provide training in the proper use and maintenance of your system so in a fire situation everyone will be prepared to respond appropriately.

NFPA 10 Update
The general requirements for the selection and servicing of portable fire extinguishers is set forth in the National Fire Protection 10, Standards for Portable Fire Extinguishers. Included in the 2007 edition are the following changes:
- New Extinguisher Class (K)- Fires in cooking appliances that involve combustible cooking media (vegetable or animal fats and oils).
- Selection of Hazard - New fire extinguishers provided for the protection of cooking appliances that use combustible cooking media (vegetable or animal oils and fats) shall be listed and labeled for Class K fires.
- Verification of Service - An extinguisher that has undergone maintenance that includes internal examination or that has been recharged shall have a “Verification of Service” collar located around the neck of the container. The exceptions are extinguishers undergoing maintenance before 1/1/99 and cartridge operated extinguishers.
